The color on this one is so intense it almost doesn’t look real. Photos barely do it justice.
I’m happy to show it live on Instagram for serious buyers.
It’s priced at $425 because I would gladly keep it for anything less. This is a legitimately top-end specimen that is perfect.
The Daoping–Yangshuo orebody in southern China has produced some of the most famous pyromorphite crystals in the world for over twenty years. Major finds have slowed dramatically, and most great pieces in collections today came out in the early 2000s. New material from small workings in the area is limited and increasingly hard to obtain.
This specimen is a standout from the newer production. It features bold, three-dimensional, hoppered barrel crystals forming a beautiful cluster. The color is the coveted grass- to yellow-green “matcha” tone collectors chase, with strong, glassy luster that pops from every angle.
A true, museum-quality example from the world’s most important source.
Why collectors love it:
✔ Famous, high-demand locality
✔ Sculptural crystal growth
✔ Rich, saturated color
✔ Bright luster
✔ UV reactive
✔ Limited modern supply
Metaphysical associations:
Many value pyromorphite for themes of clarity, growth, and transformation, making it powerful both as a display piece and an energetic addition to a space.
Care:
Handle with care. Skip chemicals and ultrasonic cleaners. Light dusting with a soft, dry cloth is best.
