Orthoclase Moonstone Cabochon – Hand-Cut & Polished

I wish I could transfer this understanding to everyone’s brains.

Priced at $23 this real top quality Moonstone is at a friend thing price.

Description There is a profound difference between the common "rainbow" trade stones and a true Orthoclase Moonstone. This cabochon was hand-shaped and polished by me from raw moonstone rough I personally sourced in India. It features the signature milky body tone and deep internal glow that defines the species. As you rotate the stone, you’ll witness a hauntingly beautiful adularescence—shimmering flashes of blue and violet that seem to float beneath the surface. Each inclusion is a natural fingerprint, preserved through my specific cutting process to maintain the stone's unique character.

Composition True Moonstone is a potassium aluminum silicate, a delicate interlacing of Orthoclase and Albite feldspar. This internal layering is what scatters light to create its ethereal glow.

Origin: India (Sourced as raw rough) I have more for sale in Crafting Materials page.

Hardness: 6 – 6.5 on the Mohs scale

Metaphysical Properties

Chakra: Third Eye and Crown

Zodiac: Cancer

The Alchemist’s Perspective: Orthoclase Moonstone is the stone of the "Internal Journey." Unlike stones that project energy outward, this promotes deep intuition, emotional stability, and the steady growth of one’s creative spirit. It is a stone for those who seek to master their own tides.

Why Choose Hand-Cut?

Artisanal Integrity: Mass-produced stones often lose their "glow" due to improper orientation. I cut this piece specifically to maximize its optical adularescence.

Raw Potential: For those who prefer the untamed energy of the earth, I also offer the raw rough moonstone used to create this piece.

Care Tips

Handling: Clean only with a soft, dry cloth.

Sensitivity: Orthoclase is sensitive to thermal shock; keep away from sudden temperature changes and harsh chemical cleaners.

Storage: Store in a padded pouch to protect the hand-polished surface from harder minerals.
