K2 stone - Skardu district, Gilgit-Baltistan, Pakistan - Cabochon - White granite with vivid azurite “raindrops”
Full item description
This K2 cabochon is cut and polished from the famous K2 material, a bright white granite matrix with natural, ink-blue azurite spots. Each cabochon has its own pattern, from clean single “raindrops” to clustered orbs that look like splashes of blue paint. The best-known source for true K2 material is the Skardu area in northern Pakistan (Gilgit-Baltistan), near the Karakoram Range.
This cabochon is made for makers. It pairs well with sterling, copper, and mixed-metal designs, and it looks sharp in both minimal and statement settings.
